rushed check-in no briefing
the check-in was rushed, and the staff did not proactively communicate anything. i had to remind them to ensure my room was upgraded. there was also no briefing on hotel policies.

awkward check-in disorganised bar
the breakfast was nice. afternoon tea and evening cocktails were also great.
the check-in process was awkward and confusing. i stood for about 10 minutes while a staff member typed silently. my bags arrived long after i reached the room, and a birthday cake i arranged for my partner was forgotten. the rooftop bar experience was similarly disorganised.
